Prof. Dr. Michel Deriaz earned an engineering degree in telecommunications and a master’s in computer science, followed by a PhD in economic and social sciences. He then spent three years in the industry before returning to academia, where he founded the TaM research group. In 2020, he was promoted to Professor at the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland, and since 2024, he has also been a Visiting Professor at the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest.
